This website is operated by Poonam Shah Interiors, an independent interior design studio run by Poonam Shah ("I", "me", "my"). When you get in touch through my enquiry form, I collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, and information about your project. If you contact me by email or WhatsApp instead, I'll hold whatever information you choose to share with me there.
I do not collect payment details, financial information or any sensitive personal data through this website.
I use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, discuss and deliver my design services, and keep records relating to any project we work on together. I will not use your details for marketing purposes without your separate consent, and I never sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing.

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site display, such as the Instagram feed.
To run this website and process enquiries, I rely on a small number of trusted service providers: my website hosting provider, Web3Forms (which securely delivers enquiry form submissions to my inbox), Google Fonts, and SociableKit (for the Instagram feed). Each of these providers processes limited technical data as part of providing their service to me.
I keep enquiry and project-related information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, deliver any services agreed, and meet my legal and accounting obligations. If your enquiry doesn't lead to a project, I'll retain your details for a reasonable period in case you get back in touch, and delete them if requested.
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask me for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, to ask me to delete it, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@poonamshahinteriors.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
I may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to my website or how I handle personal information. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
